"Well, I'm honored that you would choose to spend those minutes with me,"
Derek replies with a warm smile, looking delighted when the man sits down.
He wishes that he had more than a few minutes, but he supposes that he will
just have to do his best to make those minutes count.
"Oh, not really. Not yet," Derek replies, looking over at the mess of
papers slashed with red next to his empty coffee cup and glasses. His
blazer with the tweed elbow patches is slung across the chair, with a brown
leather messenger bag on top of that. He supposes that he does give off a
very teacher-like vibe. "I'm a grad student at the university, and I TA for
a few classes. I hope to be one someday soon, though."
He cocks his head curiously, reaching blindly for his pastry so that he
doesn't have to take his gaze off of such a beguiling face. "Station. The
police station?"
