Oh my god. XDDD This is so ridiculously touching. To be honest, I think one of my greatest insecurities as a writer has always been whether or not I can nail down their voice, because I feel like that's one of my bigger weaknesses. Even if I think I can understand motivations, even if I think I can figure out characterization, being able to spell it all out in a way that sounds like them and really highlights their essence as a person is just something I struggle with, especially because the writers in this game are so talented. It's actually one of the reasons (schedule being the primary other) that I decided to leave the game — because I felt like that grasp was constantly slipping. So to hear this is overwhelming and wonderful.

I'm doubly excited that you find my characters compelling even without knowing the canon, too! One of my favorite things about panfandom roleplay is about how we can get pulled in so organically by the draw of other people's writing. So if I've sparked your interest even a little, that means a lot to me.

I've been desperately wanting to thread with Carson, given that I know and have watched SBL multiple times and have read and been delighted at how you totally bring him to life in your writing, so we should totally figure out a way to thread. I'm totally game for starting private threads if you are. :D Jack has a very easy in to meet Carson through Girl, and Carson and Jessica really do need to meet sometime because like you said, I can't tell if they'd BFF or be bitter enemies, and I'd love to play that out.
