What I've always admired about your Andrea is the fact that she seems to have such strength at her core. Throughout everything she experiences, no matter how rough, there's this spine of steel that gets her through it — but when the tough stuff's said and done, she's got such a gentleness to her that really makes for a perfect mix. She just feels so real, this tenacious survivor who hasn't lost any of her humanity through it all. And you've tackled some really tough issues with her, the sensitive issue of finding a biological surrogate, going through post-partum depression, discovering a daughter she never knew, and throughout every thread it felt natural, which speaks so much to how much thought you've given her. I love seeing her grow and come into herself as a mother, seeing what that adds to her identity. She's beautifully written and I'm so glad I have the opportunity to tackle such meaningful discussions with her. She's already adding so much to Jack's experience.
