Even before coming back to game, I'd been peeking in from time to time at Ronan's threads, often because you've mentioned on Twitter that sometimes it's hard to get into the mindset for him or otherwise, and while I don't know the canon, I think that what you've really managed with Ronan is to construct this incredibly thoughtful and nuanced character that's really a delight to follow and thread with. He comes across as very human. I've always loved that you don't shy away from a character's flaws, instead you embrace them as part of the character's identity — which is, really, the most realistic thing in writing, and personally one of the things that I enjoy reading the most. This is totally the case with Ronan, where you don't try to paint every flaw as being romantic in some way — he's just got some rough edges, for better or worse, but on the whole he's a good person and he cares so deeply.
I'm selfishly really looking forward to see how his development continues, especially while around a little kid like Jack! I absolutely loved that there was a lot of anger that Ronan felt over Jack's situation, but that he stamped it down in his interactions with Jack because he wanted to put the kid first. It was a real moment where I could totally empathize with how Ronan felt. I don't know how you do it, but you definitely draw readers into the mindset of your characters gloriously well.
