Given that it is now mid-year and that many of us seem to have been having a rough time of it lately, now seems like an excellent time for a kudos meme. Tag in character, as yourself, or even anonymously if you prefer! Just spread the love, y'all. ♥

Tell them why you love having them in game, what you enjoy about the character, praise a specific plot or thread, whatever love you have to spread. Actually that does make me think Blue, with her weird clothing and snarky kindness and fight, might be a good person to throw in with Kieren.

Eep! You're making me blush here stop that. (You should read Les Mis again, it's so good if you're not reading it FOR anything, to just take slowly and skip parts if you want and read the parts you like. AND I also do have a faithfully C&Pd document that's only and all mention of the Amis, which is kind of fun reading on its own, if you do enjoy excesses of Grantaire speechifying and terrible puns on names.)

I do love R's interactions with yours: Krem and he keep meeting at events but I'm delighted with them having become affectionate buddies. It's TONS of fun to be able to play a character off Kavinsky that delights in douchebaggy party throwing and dancing and flirting, and doesn't have any history to judge him on. And R's a flirt, so despite their respective taken-ness I doubt that'll change.

I will try to live up to this praise! (Especially since I, completely vainly, love knowing people are lurking/enjoying/having feelings about the threads I write XD and I lurk the HELL out of your pups' threads, so it's only fair.)

Oh man, those early threads were amazing, and sometimes I just go back and chinhands at them. I'd love them to thread again now that they have some contentedness (although, right now having lost Gavroche and his friends also all having lost people to the whims of Darrow disappearances, he's pulling a bit of a Ronan: with people who love him but very volatile. Which could also be a good thread).

Hee! I am delighted by curious, concerned Bitty. He didn't get too far into just HOW okay he is with Neil, haha. Didn't want to scandalize the kid forever. It really touched Grantaire, he never expects caring (well, he's gotten to it with Edgar), but especially someone who's a friend of a friend really worrying if he's in a good place. Well. It's so Bitty, and it's so unexpected to R, and I'm sure they'll run back into each other.

Porthos is the biggest sweetheart considering his whole life has been a sort of parade of shitty things piled on top of each other and auuuugh I love Porthos and Jack SO MUCH, as you know!

Ha! I can see how: he's sort of the Tumblr darling and often in weird ways, and I'm glad I COULD make you love him again, because fandom burnout is a real thing! It means so much to me that you think I capture his spirit, because I really love him as a book character and sometimes I'm nervous about how well I'm doing with his voice.

Jack! I love Jack, and I love the way you play him. I almost wish you were LESS good at his panic attacks and anxiety, because I know you're probably filtering that through experience. But it reads very real and relatable and very much in keeping with the glimpses of backstory we've seen in the comics; it's so lovely to see Jack through his own eyes instead of just Bitty's, and I'm always happy to see him around. He's just a good <3
