There is no place for royalty in Darrow, and I would not rule by force. But I do have knowledge of magic and the willingness to share what I can responsibly.

You should not have too. They should recognize a wise goddess when they see one. It is their loss. What arenyou going to do then? Teach magic like you taught me?

I am still myself, and there are those in the city who know they may call on me for aid or wisdom. I do not need a throne for that.

I fear you will find it more offensive than mere teaching. There is a shop, once owned by a powerful sea witch. Her evil was defeated, but now the shop has need of someone with the skill to take over, and to make sure any dangerous artifacts do not fall into the wrong hands.

You may not need it but it's what you deserve.

You are to become a shop keep? How...droll. But the books and the artifacts contained in the shop...now those could prove interesting.

Interesting, yes, and that would be why I might oversee the shop, although not, I think, for the reasons you would like them. And it would give me an opportunity to meet other wielders of magic within the city.
