The movie is one of my all-time favorite films and Elle Woods has been one of my personal heroes since it came out. But in a lot of ways, I think the musical is just a better version of the story. Elle is actually a slightly more complex heroine, I feel we get a little more of who she is, even, and I like the changes to the story, especially to Emmett. And not just that Emmett is actually a person in the musical, rather than a nice hot guy who's sort of just there like in the movie (sorry, Luke Wilson!), though it helps a lot and makes the romance less tacked on. I feel like the role he plays in Elle's story in the musical, helping her to study, pushing her to unleash different aspects of her personality, is a big part of what brings out a more dynamic Elle.

Eden. Elsa's not at all inclined to kill, but she would do it if it meant getting home to Anna, and the others wouldn't stand a chance against her, but Eden's learned from her old mistakes and she'll do anything to stay alive.
