HOW ABOUT A FRIDAY NIGHT MEME?

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

Courfeyrac has such a dangerous combination of stubbornness and impulsiveness that I swear, I'm impressed he made it as far as the barricade in one piece. He'll make a decision in an instant, and once he has, you better not tell him he was wrong. XD

Ugh so many things. Her sense of grace, though, is his favorite thing about her. Both in the literal, physical sense, and in her ability to get through anything with warmth, and dignity, and her head held high.

I think it's two things,really: issues with trust and where her place in the world is. It isn't as though she's never come across someone who didn't treat her like a freak, but the ones that did treat her badly often went above and beyond that she's closed herself off. And allowing herself to open up is...not easy. Add the fact that she has no real direction any more (after basically a lifetime of being told what to do) and it makes it a whole lot harder. It's safe to say it's going to be a long while for her to find her way and realize she isn't the mistake she called herself in the game, especially in a city with a ton of people who are extraordinarily abled or have something 'different' about them.

Oddly, I think Effie stays at John's more often but that might just be because we've done more threads with them at John's so that's my mental picture. I say odd because she's got that fabulous bed and enormous mirror, so maybe they should be spending a little more time at her place. ;)

I think she's grieving for her mother. Officially. The rules about mourning clothes for Victorians were pretty hard core, especially for a parent or other close relative. But I also think she's in mourning for her previous life. For Mina, I think. I'm not sure she will ever really move on from that. I try to imagine her out of mourning clothes and I just can't do it.

You have no idea how much I love him. Almost as much as EFFIE loves him. OK. One last question since you told me to keep going. ;) Actually, I lie. Two questions.

(1) What are Peeta's feelings about the other Victors (in particular Finnick and Johanna)?
(2) What (if anything) does he miss from 12?

OH GOD I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS FOR MALCOLM. But I will start with - What drew him to Claire Ives? What were his true feelings about Gladys? and who does he think Mina really IS?

Oooooh lordy. Ok. Wow. President Snow. I think that Effie has never for a single moment envisioned a world without Snow in power. So it's difficult to have a true opinion. He simply IS. He's a force of nature, not a man really, if that makes sense. He is terrifying and awe inspiring and his control over the world is absolute. The idea of revolution is unthinkable (at this point, though that will change) mostly because it's kind of a learned helplessness. Like with most people in the Capitol. She can't hate him because it would be like hating the weather or a volcano or something.

As for Finnick, WE WILL FIND OUT! \o/ I am so excited for the next movie I could lay down and die. But here's the thing. My take on this may differ from what actually plays out in the movie but this is my take anyway and we'll just have to see if it gets jossed by canon. I think initially she is MORTIFIED. Because she probably knows a lot of the people Finnick names and the idea that they are guilty of the crimes he's laying out is just beyond anything she can deal with, really. Additionally, there is the shame that comes from the fact that she very likely knew what was going on but refused to admit it to herself and so there is that level of complicity. He's peeling back the skin of her entire Capitol world and exposing the rot underneath and that hurts and is terrifying. So yeah. I think shame and pain are the too big emotions. She doesn't doubt for a second that he's telling the truth, it just hurts like hell to know the world you come from is that sick.

I really think after Emma touched the book and remembered and realized everything was true, and after the dust settled (WHICH TOOK A WHILE BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING STORYBROOKE AND WE CAN'T GO TEN HOURS WITHOUT A CRISIS CAN WE OF COURSE NOT) she put two and two together and came up with four. So on some level I believe she HAS to already realize what happened, she just doesn't like to think about Graham too hard at all.

So at this point? Mmm, I think she'd be upset and would probably do some angry shouting, but she's already kind of realized it and accepted it so she'd be able to move past it. She honestly blames herself a lot, too, because she didn't listen to Graham and didn't believe him.

It's actually really hard. She didn't realize how much she talked to him about things until she couldn't anymore.

I actually don't work much of it into it, on the basis of how removed she is from it, but also given that she's still bitter to a degree about being such a minor goddess. Rather than working with what she has, Michele is all about leaping beyond it, so I actually don't put much Norse bg in apart from Yggdrasil.

Also, I want Anders most because I 'ship Michele/Anders as casual fuckbuddies who enjoy fucking with each other's head to a massive degree.

He's trusted her probably since mid-Neverland, I'd say. True, he did before that, but it really solidified the 'she's part of our family, no matter past sins'. That said, his grudge started to go out after the wedding. He already figured on a happily ever after and yes, he's still pragmatic about villainy, but only when Regina stepped foot in their kingdom and pulled wrongs.

So for him, to see her protecting Henry and turning a corner and protecting their family in general, he's better about accepting that. That said, he would probably be ready to turn on a dime if she started to mess with Emma.

He is getting better! Now that he has a routine down, he's not so overwhelmed, which is good.

I have a whole list of pups I would love to app, but if we're talking about just the top candidate, that would be Angel, for sure. Who I will hopefully be apping for real eventually, if I can ever get my act together.

Sooooooo many good choices! Probably Kate Kane a.k.a. Batwoman, who is a very different pup from Steph despite being from Gotham City too. She's much more like Bruce, darker and more inward-focused. Much more of a challenge for me, I think, because I tend toward characters who are of the light and rambly variety.

If not Kate, there are so many awesome joy machines in the DCU. Jaime Reyes as the Blue Beetle or even Clark Kent would be fun, if I weren't playing Steph.

He's still working on the whole relaxing thing, but right now it's probably when he practices his bending on the beach in the mornings. It helps him clear his head.

I looooooove it. The idea of it being more DIY rather than really high tech is awesome, and something Steph really appreciates since her Spoiler costume was homemade. Though she has to admit to loving a utility belt full of goodies.

When Steph eventually takes up a vigilante identity in Darrow it'll have a similar feel.

On one hand, SO WEIRD because she's 22 and so it's weird to see her being the mama bear like that. But at the same time she's used to a Barbara who's older and running Birds of Prey who was Cass' quasi-caretaker, so it's not as weird as it could be.

And yessss they should meet!
