I think he could, one day, understand that his intention wasn't malicious. I mean, on some level, he has to know that already, because Avery's a cop and Luke was a bank robber and the official story was that Luke shot first (AVERY U LIAR), but he carries around too much resentment to really see it that way. If he could ever get past it at all, this is definitely the place for it, since Luke is here, but I'm not sure if he'd ever let himself. I guess we'll have to see~~~
