She has trouble with it, which is kind of the standard trouble a 14/15 year-old has with picturing their future married to the fact that she doesn't really know what a future looks like. (There's a line in the Left Behind DLC about how they don't know anyone, not a single person, who's died of natural causes.)
So she wants... normal things, a life, but she doesn't know what that entails or even what kind of life she wants, it's never been a question that's up to here. (insert long post about TLOU themes about agency.) And she still kind of expects that the world's going to end before too long, or that it could end at any moment, and she wants for her life to have meant something and for her survival back home to have been for something, but there's nothing she can see herself achieving that would possibly be worth it, now -- both back home and in Darrow, actually -- so what is she meant to aspire to?
