Wow, that's really difficult. I'm not sure there's ONE big thing. It's all a culmination of little things, all leading to being intrusted with murdering Dumbledore. But he also doesn't feel like he had much choice in any of it. He still has a difficult time taking full responsibility for the person he was in youth.
