I think it's because at her heart, Babs is a helper. She likes reaching out to those in need and Aggie is, if nothing else, someone in need. She also has the example of Bruce Wayne before her, a guy who took in kind who were lost and helped them reach their potentials.

And then there's Cass, who she found out was someone she had helped in another life so there's that, too.

Eleanor - Her hope. She's been through so much and she still has this hope that the world will and can be better.

Barbara - Her giving nature. She literally puts her life on the line nightly to help people who couldn't give a damn about her. She always wants to help, to protect and to teach.

Booker - His broken heart. He doesn't know it, but everything he does, especially where Elizabeth is concerned is because he's paying penance for things he can't and things he can remember.

Claudia - Her energy. She's been through a lot, but she doesn't let it stop her, she's just always looking for the next thing.

Church - His blank slate quality. He's literally building himself up out of little pieces and trying to make that a whole person.

Church thinks she's pretty and she doesn't him him when he tells her that. She's just so different from any woman he's used to and the fact that she's drop dead gorgeous doesn't hurt.

Cinna was one of the characters that just really stood out to me from the books. He's the only person in the Capitol who seems to GET IT. He gets the barbarity of the whole thing and while he's not a fighter in the traditional sense, he does all he can to make things better and when he does stand up, it's not by making some speech or shooting a gun, he makes a friggin' dress. He knows exactly where his strengths are and how to use them.

Eleanor, despite recent events, is clearly the happiest. In Darrow she gets to live a life free of Rapture with her Father and how awesome is that?

The least glad to be here... I'd say it's a tie between Booker and Claudia. Both of them were taken in the middle of some VERY IMPORTANT EVENTS and they both feel that they've abandoned something they dearly need to finish.

Anytime you wanna, although this month is a little sketchy because Babs is going through a rough time at the moment.

I adore Eleanor. She's been so much, but she's still very much an innocent girl just trying to figure out who and what she is.

She won't be creeped out, if there's one thing that her appearances on Night Vale have taught me its that she's very hard to creep out.

But confused? Hell, yeah, she'll be confused. Where are the Bloodstone Spires? Where are the Hooded Figures? WHERE IS HER RADIO STATION? She will be the only person in Darrow to hear about the bees and just say, "Doesn't that happen every year? It could have been worse, let me tell you about this Glow Cloud on the School Board..."

HE is handling it about as well as he handles anything which is to say he grumbles about it and goes and drinks for awhile. He's very aware of the fact that he has no say over what she does, but at the same time, he's got this feeling that he does and he can't reconcile the two.

Well, caroline MAY realise she's getting shafted with her friends a lot of ways.

Then again, I'm not sure she'd ever consider Katherine the 'far superior option', but you never know. She could hit her head and go crazy, there's always a tiny chance!

1) The Father With A Shotgun threat is inevitable. How will Derek handle the whole "Hurt My Son And I Will Find Wolfsbane Bullets" talk go?

2) Stiles has made himself part of Derek's pack, from what I've read of old threads and stuff. Does Derek consider Al pack by association? And will they ever talk about it? Believe it or not, my muse has a slow-growing curiosity about the whole "How Werewolves Work" thing, especially since his son is besties with one, and dating another. :P

Yesssss! He's probably next on my list, assuming that I can keep up with Raleigh's requirements - which is hard, because he's quiet... which my pups are usually not? But we'll seeeeee~

1. As to why? He's a smartass genius who's working on changing his ways (though I personally didn't like where they took IM3, but that's me). I think there's something interesting (read: super cheap and fun) about writing a character who's a genius, and when it's all wrapped up in snark and arrogance, it's all the more fun. Tony's a good guy deep down, but he tries to hide it - that's one of my favorite things about him.


2. I was just talking about this to someone! Maybe Carly. I can't remember. I totally think it will, at the very least, change Stiles' attitude toward the city, and his actions regarding his future in it. Stiles has had Derek and Scott around, but as close as they are to him, they can't really make him do anything - at least not in terms of consequences if he doesn't. Stiles reluctantly went to school, but like his dad saw, saying he'll go doesn't keep him there all the time.
   
   Before Al got here, he was very much in a mode of "¯\_(ツ)_/¯ FAKE CITY! FUCK CONSEQUENCES!" Probably because I play Stiles as a kid with standards and morals... that he only cares about when it involves people he cares about. I literally toyed with a plot of him just starting to learn to pickpocket off of Darrow natives because he did. not. care. and was bored as hell. With Al here, he definitely has a bit more of a moral compass, along with someone to sort of temper any high schooler tendencies to just dick around.
   
   He'll also probably be a lot more content with where he's stuck. So there's that.


3. Stiles was in a really strange place (as stated above XD) when he decided he was part of Derek's pack. He didn't have anyone, not his family, not Scott, and here was Derek, being wayyyyy more helpful and supportive than Stiles remembered and becoming his friend. It took time, but it was easy for all of the other werewolf politics to fall away when there were no other TW 'verse wolves around, so when he really started to think about it, along with how close he and Derek were... he just thought, hell yeah.
   
   To Stiles, pack is different from friendship, but not mutually exclusive. Since he's in a tiny pack of two right now (he really doesn't know where he stands with Scott or what's going to happen with that; we're working on it!), he really just sees it as his way of declaring to Derek that he's here for him, regardless of what happens - including their relationship, though he doesn't plan or foresee anything bad happening there.
   
   It also means that he consciously, willingly, is trusting Derek in important situations. If they're in a life-or-death thing (it's happened), he'll listen to Derek (probably). If it's something a little outside of the scope of his and Derek's friendship/relationship, he'll still consider his opinion. By 'accepting' Derek as his alpha, he's sort of just acknowledging that there are situations that Derek will handle better than him, and that he respects him.

What's the hardest thing for you about writing Derek and what's the easiest? I ask everyone because... I do... but yeah. Curious! Also, this season I see a LOT of correlation between Derek as you played him in the beginning/now and Derek on the show. Do you feel like a champion for this prediction?

1) I HAVE SO MANY TONY STARK EMOTIONS IT'S DISGUSTING. NO. REALLY. I LOVE HIM. And you totally are drawn to him for the same reasons I am...plus I love how deeply his own brain matters to him. He downplays it all the time, pretending things slip past him (though lots of things do because HE'S BUSY BEING IRON MAN FUCK DA POLICE XD) but at the end of the day he doesn't actually believe he's worth any more than what his genius can produce. So yeah, I love you more today than yesterday. :P

2) Good. Because there just needs to be a metric fuckton of father/son bonding. Stiles is Al's Daddy's Boy and they just need to have dinners together so Al can bitch at Stiles making him eat his veggies and Al can help him with his homework and if I ever figure out how to get him working at the police station, have him be tricked into letting Stiles help him solve his cases 5eva because they bond best when they are sleuthing.

3) You have no idea how secretly grateful Al is for Derek now. Because Stiles needs structure or else he'd be doing that pickpocketing thing and Al would have NO CLUE what to do with the rambunctious little turd. :P

I don't think she misses much, but she does wish she had her library. Though most of the books were...heavily biased to the beliefs of Columbia, there were still some she likely wishes she had on hand still.

Besides that, no, not much. Maybe if she wasn't being chased but probably not even then, there are pretty telling lines out of her she didn't really understand the point of the racism going on that was grossly prevalent.

That's actually a pretty good question. I guess the personality trait of being very loyal probably runs through the lot of them. Each of them have a tendency to stand up for the things they believe in, too, though the way they do so varies. Steve is very calm and collected, Riley is a bit of a loose cannon, etc.

1) Yes! Elena and Al would get along rather well, I think. She definitely does crave a good father figure and she could teach him a lot more about the strange new world he finds himself in.

Derek has mixed emotions about it, but ultimately he's pleased. He likes having his own kind around. This is conditional, of course, on them not being assholes. If they're aggressive or they try to claim territory, or hurt anyone, Derek might not be so welcoming.

My favorite thing about Derek is that he never stops trying. He may not always make the right choices, but ultimately he has such a good heart. He really cares, way more than he lets on. He feels things deeply even if he does his best to hide it. Derek Hale will never stop trying to do good and be a man that his family could be proud of, no matter how gruff his exterior.

For Rapunzel, it's the sunshine in her veins. She can take a hit and keep on keeping on, and she can find beauty in joy in the smallest things. She's strong and bright and friendly and always does her best to pass that on to other people. Her light stays bright, even if her world is dark.
