First Kiss Drabbles
Tag your characters into the post and respond to each other with either prompts for or drabbles about the first time they kissed. In the city or out the city, alternate universe (whether or not they've already kissed), total crack, utterly chaste or downright pornographic, current pairings or match-ups that would never happen — whatever suits your fancy, write it here.

That's what she tells herself as she tugs more of the blanket over to her side of the couch, since somehow Spike seems to have hogged it all to himself. He's sleeping in his corner, the light from the TV flickering over his face, creating shadows in the hollows of his cheeks, under the line of his jaw. None of this makes sense, but there's something so delightfully normal about it that Andrea's been unable to put a stop to it. He comes over, they watch bad movies on late night TV and they fall asleep, bits of popcorn stuck to the blanket, a tumbler with flecks of dried blood around the rim set on her coffee table.
Well, the blood is unusual, but everything else feels so normal. It feels like the world before the roamers, before the island, before things got hard and started to make sense all at the same time. In her living room with the TV on and a sleeping vampire beside her, Andrea doesn't need her rifle. She can be that girl she used to be. Just for a short time.
"Penny for your thoughts, love," he says, startling her, and Andrea looks up, surprised to find him looking at from under his lashes, eyes still half closed.
"I thought you were asleep," she says.
"You think too loud for anyone to get any sleep 'round here," Spike answers, then stretches under the blanket and lays his hand on her shin. It's comforting, familiar.
"You're hilarious," she says dryly, rolling her eyes. "It's not important. This just all reminds me of... I don't know. Life before. It's normal."
"Spent a lot of time with vampires, did you?" he asks and she rolls her eyes again.
"Just the ones with souls who always fell asleep before the end of the movie," she shoots back, digging her toes into his ribs. Spike twitches and grabs her leg harder, but with the pressure comes his thumb, rubbing lightly back and forth over her skin. It feels nice, calm. It reminds her of the way Dale used to touch her.
Before she knows what she's doing, Andrea pushes herself up. The blanket tangles around her knees, but she's still there, straddling his lap, his face between her hands and for a second all the memories of the world after the roamers come back, bursting into this place of normality she's worked so hard to hold onto. Spike's hands are on her waist, his fingers pressing into her skin and she can't pretend this is normal, but it still feels that way. It still feels like comfort as she leans down, pressing her mouth to his.
