Meme: Reverse Questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or will be playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

Yeah, that's a good talk to have. Mike asked Andrea if she'd consider going to anyone and Andrea was like, 'UMMMM... CHANGE OF SUBJECT, CLEMENTINE SHOULD MAYBE GO, HUH?' so she's already been thinking about it.

I actually spent the second half of the first season really torn between the two, to be honest. It's weird, because I HATED Don for the first few episodes, but then he grew on me, until he was my actual favorite? And reading some interviews and going back and looking at some of the earlier stuff after the fact, a lot more of what he did made sense to me. At the time, I still thought Maggie would be a better fit for me in terms of playing, and, obviously, I still love her a lot, but I think, in retrospect, the tone of Don's character and his story are ones I'm more well suited to. I really, really wasn't doing Maggie justice, and I think — or at least hope — that it will be different this time around. I just... really love him a lot. I could go on. Should I go on?

In short, she's not. It's just something she can't really deal with, and it's a lot easier to do that here than in canon, since she's away from home but also really separate from everyone there (except Seth, naturally) in a way that even going to college across the country didn't allow. Like, it's not just hanging overhead, and also she didn't live through it, so instead of actually letting herself process it and grieve, she's throwing herself headfirst into whatever she can. It will probably really hit her farther down the line, and then it will be really bad all at once.

INCREDIBLY CAREFULLY. Like, using a different journal for Test Drive levels of caution, and even then, I was convinced that the journal I went with was going to spoil it, since I took it from Morgan Freeman's little explanation of the Eye (but it fit too well not to use, so). It has kept me from tagging around as much as I'd like to, since I don't know who wants to avoid spoilers for it, buuuuuut WHATEVER I DO WHAT I WANT.

Oh, God, she'll probably be pretty freaked out at first, pretend not to be, and also just the tiiiiiiniest bit comforted, because it's really weird being the only person from their world here and also at least it's him and not any of the other Lannisters. I think it will help once he suggests that they get a divorce, if/when that winds up happening, because then she won't be obligated to him. And I feel like they could actually get along really well once they're not a married couple, especially without the rest of his family, because while he's still a Lannister and she does not trust him at all, he has been good to her, and she'll be a lot more capable of appreciating that after the fact.

I DON'T KNOW WHY, AND YES, WE CAN. He's definitely getting a post in August, so if we don't get to anything beforehand, you can tag that.

It's actually frighteningly easy to play Driver. It's weird, because I was initially, a long, long time ago, going to make a journal for Irene — I was in the process of doing so when there was the Great LJ Outage of whenever and then the entire site went screwy — but around the time we were coming up for the idea of this game, it just sort of hit me, oh, shit, I can play Driver now.. There's just something about it that's very instinctive. The only trouble I have is worrying that I won't be giving people enough to respond to in tags, and, I mean, it makes it difficult for him to form real connections, but I don't let that hold me up too much, because it just makes sense for the character.

Not very good. :/ As I said above, she basically is getting smacked around more in these last few months than ever before and it's really messing with her. She's probably going to start needing to talk to someone once Time Doors plot is done, depending on if Andrea wants her to see one.

I think he'd be happy to see either of them (OR BOTH), obviously. I mean, it's pretty lonely living on his own after being pretty damn used to living with people you've known for so long. He deals with it because that's how it is here, but he doesn't particularly enjoy it. :(

♣ How is Elena dealing with being a vampire in a new city?

♣ Which one person from her canon would she most like to show up next?

♣ What does Emma most wish she could change about her presence in Darrow? (Having someone else there, different job, relationship status, etc., anything but willing herself home.)

♣ Outside of dance and working with Forrest, what would Maggie like to pursue next?

He's always just floated along, man. I've never made plans for him, which is probably not a good thing, but whatevs. XD

He's pretty rattled after the whole Bateman thing. He's keeping a lot closer eye on the people he cares about, and he feels a little out of control, but it's also reminded him of his own past, in a strange way. He was a monster, not too long ago, and did things that he's convinced would probably put a pretty huge strain on his relationships, if his loved ones ever found out the details. So, he's dealing with some weird, residual guilt, but he's keeping relatively quiet about it.

Blergh, he worries about them, because he's convinced himself that he's the only one capable of providing for them. He's also missing out on watching Holly grow up, which was one of his biggest fears from back when he was first diagnosed. But he's mostly angry, because he feels like he's had something taken from him, and he doesn't like that loss of control. His old excuse isn't really flying anymore-- that he's doing these horrible things to provide for his family, but he's still somehow rationalizing that his need to build an empire and not let himself fall into insignificant obscurity again can be traced back to building a lasting legacy for his children. So, if anything, the loss of his family has made him even more single-minded, even more obsessed with scrounging up power wherever he can get it.

- He likes her a lot, but he has conflicted feelings, some of which he's talked about with Chase. Because he's a cop and because he has a pretty good idea about what her husband did to her, he has a hard time turning off that side of him that wants to protect her and fix things, which he realizes is stupid and presumptuous and arrogant of him, but knowing that doesn't mean he can turn it off any better. If that makes any sense whatsoever. So this is why he's taking things slow, because he knows he needs to learn how to not have that side of him come out.

- She still really likes the idea of family law, but since Bateman got to her, she kind of wants to put douchebags away in prison foreverrrrr. So I'm not even sure yet which of the two she'll land on.

- I think she'd really love to do more contemporary ballets at this point. Given how long she's been dancing for a career (hahah, god, at least ten years?) she's probably danced most of the more classic roles. She really loves dancing Juliet. And if/when she has to give it up, I can't see her moving far from the field. I like the idea of her as an artistic director, because she has the sort of mindset to create really interesting takes on more classic pieces.

- Kate levels of upset. >.> She's so dramatic that she'll get pissed off at him and say horrible things and then feel bad about it. But also hahaha what boyfriends? D: And she puts up with him because she loves him and he puts up with her. :3

- Nah, Ilithyia finds most people strange and off-putting, so it's cool. As for money, I really like the idea of her finding a politician to manipulate regularly, someone she'll sleep with in exchange for money and status. So basically she's becoming a prostitute, but that's cool with her, too.

♣ how awkward is it to consider the romantic/eventually sex life of a Disney princess

She actually really likes it! She's aware other people don't and/or feel trapped, but she spent the first 18 years of her life locked in a tiny tower and had only one day of freedom before coming to Darrow, so she doesn't feel confined. And, she found out her entire life had been a lie, so there isn't really anything to miss. She has Eugene and Pascal, so she's pretty lucky.

She spends her day exploring! Almost everything is brand new to her, and she has such enthusiasm for learning new things that she's getting a constant, endless stream of knowledge. She loves it!

Other things she enjoys are shopping for cute dresses and trying new foods. The only thing she hates? Shoes. Can't stand them.

➵ Good, for the most part! No one is actively trying to kill her - which I think needs to change, because girl does not really know how to function when her life isn't in danger all the effing time. But overall, she's good. She has her daylight ring, which definitely helped her make the switch from transitioning vampire to functional member of society. She's applying to go to college, which is what she'd be getting ready to do back home anyway. And she's trying to figure out her life as it relates to Damon and their sire bond, because those are the source of all the confusing feels. I want her to meet other vamps soon, though, or other supernatural creatures. It'd be good for her to meet people like her from other worlds.

➵ JEREMY. She misses her baby bro. Or Bonnie or Caroline. She needs a best friend to share all her guy talk with - because right now Ric is that person for her, and that is definitely very awkward. (And she also misses Stefan. Not that she'd say that out loud.)

➵ The one thing that would make it better for her is if Henry was there, but she also knows that's a selfish wish. And she loves her job, because it's the closest thing to what she was doing in Storybrooke and before. (Which reminds me, I need to get her more threads with the cop types, just doing procedural stuff and apprehending suspects and generally being badass.) She's definitely moving past her feelings for Graham, even though the book will never really be closed on her love for him, so having her date someone else would probably be the best change of pace for her. She hasn't had the chance to do anything selfish in that sphere of her life, and she needs to get back on the horse, romantically speaking - even if it's just a casual thing to start.

➵ I haven't really thought of anything beyond those two plot ideas for her, but I'm definitely open to suggestions? IDK, I think between helping Forrest build his new business from the ground up and pursuing a side career with the company, she's definitely more content than she has been in a long time. She's moving past her attack and finally allowing herself to show Forrest how much he means to her - which is a heck of a lot.

Nick's probably my hardest to get out and talk to people. He's easy to WRITE, but he isn't the kind of person who would just go up to a random person and say hello unless they're in some sort of horrible distress or something, you know? So I mostly use EP posts to get him to talk to people, because it's always easier to have people approach HIM than the other way around.

THAT BEING SAID, I will say that when people talk to him it isn't hard for him to get along with others unless they piss him off, so there's that. I feel like most people who talk to him can see he's generally a pretty nice guy if they talk to him often enough. xD

AS FOR ELIZABETH.

I will say that the one lucky thing about her literally being locked away from society was that she also was locked away from the rampant, really horrible racism that was all over the place she lived in. Because that WOULD'VE been the hardest thing for her to deal with otherwise, since clearly the whole mentality is not shared by the Darrow population, haha. As for what IS the hardest thing, I'd probably say just trying to appear normal? She really tries hard to fit in and EVERYTHING EVER is so new but she can't react to new things half the time because then she knows people might ask questions. She tries so hard because she LIKES Darrow. She LIKES she's just another twenty year old trying to get by.

When you've been locked away your entire life, just being able to be around people and not worry about your safety for the most part is a blessing in itself, you know?

WOAH FIVE, that is an unfathomable number to me. XD Okay, accounting both for ones I've thought about playing forever and whims of the moment, let's go with Aurora, Doorman, Earth X Venom, Peter Newkirk, and Jay Baruchel. >_>

REGGIE is handling his new living situation about as well as he handled his last one, that is, not well, but with more self-pity and conspiracy theories than denial this time around. He eats a lot of cheap take-out.

SEAN's feels are dumb he is dumb so dumb dumb dumb. Mostly he's just crazy about her in a way that is wholly disproportionate to their actual relationship which weirds him out and makes him lineface a lot.

He noticed her scent first, because he cataloged all the residents' scents. Derek doesn't like living in an apartment, too many other people, so he got all the normal scents down so he could keep a nose out for anything out of the ordinary.

He saw her leaving the building once, liked her hair and noticed her ass, let's be real. First met her at the BBQ and thought she was hot. And a mess. Apparently he has a type: cute messes who try to take on too much but can also kick a lot of ass.

SAWYER: The interesting thing to me about playing Sawyer again is that my view on life and love have changed a fair amount since the last time I played him. One of the reasons why I've been so keen on doing a full and thorough rewatch is that there are certain exchanges that I feel like I better understand now, probably thanks to having so closely managed relationships around me these past couple of years, and also having had people around me fall terribly ill or pass away. Sawyer is a fantastic character to explore that with, because he's a survivor, because he's malleable, because he's so responsive to the people around him while also maintaining very serious scars from the past. He's also unafraid to take extreme measures, something that I want to see him pushed to in Darrow, which affords so much opportunity for plot. So, I guess the thing I'm most looking forward to is playing such a dynamic character who is about love and the ability to move on from the past, and seeing how successful at it he'll be in Darrow.

KURT: Aw, only five things? Okay:
  1. His capacity for forgiveness. There's very little that he can't come to terms with, and it seems that most of all he needs to understand where and why a person came from, and then progress in a way healthy for both parties involved. He forgave and befriended the one boy who'd bullied him most over the years, he forgave his boyfriend after being cheated on. The fact that he's been hit so many times and come out the bigger person is just awesome.
  2. His resilience. He doesn't duck away from challenges. The closest he came to it was when he transferred schools to get away from severe bullying, but even then, he returned before long. Considering everything, he's pretty brave.
  3. His voice. ...yeah. I'm a sucker for Chris Colfer's countertenor.
  4. Weird as it sounds, the very dynamic way he interacts with fashion. Fashion's always been a statement to him, about expressing oneself, and the things that you spot in his clothes often seem to say a lot about him. Sometimes he prefers a bondage theme, very frequently there are death motifs (beyond just McQueen, even), and whenever he's more comfortable around people, his wear seems to get increasingly casual in look. It's fascinating, and I kind of wish I was better with fashion writing so that I could somehow replicate it in game without it being strange or unwieldy.
  5. His relationships. Everyone ends up occupying a very different type of space in his heart. He maintains his personality very strongly and changes it for no one, but he learns different things from all of the people around him and is incredibly conscious of that. It makes him super accepting.

RUKIA: Both Rukia and Ichigo are kind of fascinating in that they've been such a huge influence on one another and are incapable of forgetting all the ways they've been touched by that other person. Rukia brought Ichigo into the world of the dead and death gods; Ichigo is the first person who fought tooth and nail and without any hesitation to save her from a certain death. So even with Ichigo gone, Rukia's constantly thinking about him, and what ends up hurting most is the fact that she can't even get any news about him. He's just gone, all trace of him. Couple that with how she hasn't been able to get in contact with any other death gods in Darrow, and she's... really, really lost, honestly. She's able to function, she's very difficult to tilt off balance, but she's hurting a lot and feeling just a little more defeated with each passing day.

CHASE: More than anything, Chase is glad to have the opportunity to spend more time with House. He's also a little pissed that he heard absolutely nothing about House's plans to fake his death and run off with Wilson into the sunset, but... it's House, that kind of inconsideration is a rule rather than the exception. Chase still views Darrow as being some type of afterlife, so there's very little that fazes him on that front, but the way Darrow so closely resembles all of his living relationships with people makes Chase interact with it on a face level — so, even though he's like 'well this is limbo,' he's still quietly pleased to have the extra time with someone he really admired and, very honestly, loved.

KORRA: Russell, Tommy, Summer, and Cissie are all really interesting for Korra to interact with. She does, as you've pointed out, kind of adjust herself in response to what she sees from the other person, and each one of those four people pulls out a different part of her. Russell is the always supportive superior, so she considers him a teacher of sorts, a master in his own right, and is always delighted by how happy he seems to be with her. It makes her feel fulfilled. Tommy is the teacher who... well, is kind of gruff and opinionated and when they spark, they really spark, so I love how her temper seems to have flared the most of all around him. Summer is completely unfamiliar with Korra's sort of world and the abilities, but is really enthralled by it, so it makes Korra feel special and pleased that a peer is willing to welcome her; she kind of wants to play the knight to Summer's princess. And Cissie is the confidante, the one she tells the most to and is the most wholly herself around, because Cissie is always able to talk through things with her and has never made Korra feel like her emotions are invalidated. Cissie is Korra's rock. She adjusts herself into what she wants to be for all those four people and it's just really fun to play out.

NURIKO: Figuring out the social atmosphere has definitely been the most difficult thing for Nuriko. She's very effervescent and isn't afraid to strike up conversation, which works in her favor, but she also doesn't know how much she can share about her physical being and what people will think of that. In some ways, it was almost easier for her to be back home, where she knew that it wouldn't be respected and she had to hide it all the time — and then did a complete 180 when the warriors she fought with were actually okay with it, and then she never had to hide anything regarding her physique and biology anymore. Right now, Nuriko just doesn't want to end up losing any friendships as a result of how she looks. It's easier to say that those friendships should be abandoned anyway if that's a problem, but much harder to play out in practice.

FAYE: Sweat jam. And then she'll just end up staying only in very air conditioned buildings from now on. SHE NEEDS THOSE HANDS, HOW DO YOU FIRE GUNS WITH DUSTPAN HANDS?

ISHIAH: He'd probably fall to old habits and open up a bar. In canon, he has this bar called the Ninth Circle (clever amirite), a place he uses to listen in on conversations and gather intel about the surrounding area. It's very lushly decorated with plants and he lets many birds fly around free in the bar. Peri bars, man. Super weird. But he's definitely a 'go with old habits' kinda guy.
