MEME: Two Truths and a Lie

Alright, everyone, let's try something a little different. Let's play Two Truths and a Lie.

1. Top level your character listing three statements about themselves, two of which are true and one of which is false.

2. Reply to other top levels with guesses as to which is the lie. Explanations of their reasoning are a bonus.

3. Additional bonus option: Have your character add two truths and a lie of their own to the thread to keep the game going after the initial guessing is done.

Really, I don't know how I skipped right to Bathilde over Brunhilde. Bats in the belfry, I guess, I don't know.

So what's this about being engaged?

I don't know how much it really counted. It felt like it did, then. His name was Airk. He was the prince, I was a servant. That stupid old cliché. Anyway, I caught feelings, and I guess he did too, or... maybe he was just trying to prove something to himself. I don't know. But he did ask me to marry him, and I did say yes.

Broke it off later. It was... a whole thing.

I don't think it has to last to count. But, eh, I'm just glad I don't have to duel a prince over his wounded honor or something if he shows up in this place. I don't need to get arrested for murder or whatever.

Oh, yeah, not a chance. He was a total player anyway. It probably wouldn't have lasted even if things hadn't gotten completely crazy right after that.

Oh, royal and a rogue — you really have a type.

I don't really have any experience with princes, but I feel like, if you're looking for monogamy, nobility's not really the place to start. Though that's not really a concern these days, huh?
