He's eating a burger, slurping a coke between bites until the ice rattles in the cheap, wax cup.

Peter groans quietly around his mouthful, thwipping the coke machine to drag it in begrudging, screeching inches across the Slothburger floor.

The man knows him and Steve thinks, just for a moment, that his face might be familiar, but he's distracted. Moments ago, he had been in Wakanda, holding the line against Thanos and his forces in order to buy Shuri time with Vision. Now he's somewhere else entirely, blood and dirt and grit on his skin.

"The others," he says, turning to look. "Have you seen them?"

He has to assume this man has been part of the fight.

Daniel didn't know what the hell Captain Rogers had just come from, but it probably wasn't anything good. He looked older than when Daniel had seen him in 44, but Daniel remembered Stark telling him that they'd found Captain Rogers and thawed him out or something, so probably it was from then. Probably they were both men out of time.

"I haven't, sorry, and whatever you were fighting, it's not here now. Any'a that blood yours?"

Orpheus has been here a few times now. He never remembers it until he's here again, and that doesn't make much sense, but he still recognizes it. Knowing a place is more comfortable than not knowing it, and remembering it doesn't keep him.
