Rosie. Let's start with Rosie. I loved Rosie, and I loved her relationship with Charlie, and then I read Arcadia, and I loved her even more and Nick and Rosie happened, and the sex cult, and I love the little loving knot of them. I love the many and varied ways we all thread them, and I love the way her relationship has been developing with both my boys. You manage to make what she's doing feel IC and lovely, and the way she's growing into herself is beautiful, honestly. It's very true to who she is in canon while still feeling entirely organic.

I remember nudging you as you started reading Ninth House in the vague hope that you would be the Darlington to my Alex, and...well, we know how that worked out. I am really gratified that you loved him as much as I thought you would. You write him so beautifully -- his voice is utterly spot on -- and I can't wait to thread out all of the things that we have planned for them.

I do not know how I would get through some days without you and yours.
