Anya's love life is a mess!! In the best way. Let's see, she's in love with both Gleb and Dmitry and has no idea what to do with that. There's a lot of history to unpack there, both with the time period she grew up in and also her background with both men. It is bemusing that her childhood overlaps with both of theirs so they are all linked together from the start. However at the moment, she and Gleb are in a relationship of sorts (it's almost courting, but different) which has been thrown for a loop by Dmitry's arrival and subsequent confession of love. Her mind is basically like "I cannot do this. I want both, but how does one do that? I won't choose between them." And she really doesn't want to pick one or the other and is also possessive.
