Practically, yeah. He has the means to know what he needs to know, and to obtain everything Peter might need. Emotionally, not as much. In homecoming he demonstrate the beginning of an understanding that teens need to grow up independant and confident, but only the BEGINNING. he'll have to learn to suppot instead of punish, and to model behavior by DOING, not just telling.
